TOKYO —
Actress-singer Anna Tsuchiya, 24, has released her first album in two years and two months. Titled “Nudy Show!”, it will go on sale Oct 29.
The hard-core erotic content is hardly what one expects from a single mother. Be that as it may, Tsuchiya is raising her three-year-old son on her own. She is one of several single mothers currently flourishing as entertainers. Others include Namie Amuro, 30, and Ryoko Hirosue, 28.
The album is made up of 16 songs composed by the singer. The title gives a good idea of their impact. In the third track, “Virgin Cat,” she sings, “Snaking tongue, kissing you,” and “All the way in, gently.” The second track is “Crazy World,” a duet with singer Ai, 26.
A concert tour to promote the album will kick off Oct 16 at Tokyo’s Akasaka Blitz , the first of nine venues across the country.
“It’s music that reflects Anna’s roots,” Tsuchiya said, referring to herself in the third person.

Why is it a factor that she is a single mother? Is it that shocking for a mother in Japan to be showing a sexy side to her image? And you've got to love the "hard-core" content. Coffee was nearly spat out on the keyboard when I read that! Great comedy writing once again, JT!

I remember watching a french movie. I saw a preview of her movie. I can't remember the title of the movie. But it was bad. In the preview she slapped a girl while she was wearing a kimono. Even in the preview I could see bad acting. She can sing too and she's a mom. SCARYYYYY !!! It's not Halloween yet and I am afraid of her screechy voice.

“It’s music that reflects Anna’s roots,” Tsuchiya said, referring to herself in the third person. Is she O.K. ??? She is speaking in third person ?

I don't know why it's a surprise that she spoke in the third person. All Japanese speak of themselves in the third person in conversion quite frequently. It shouldn't be a surprise. My host family always referred to themselves in the third person. The speaker often refers to themselves in relation to who they are to the listener.

Only when they're speaking to a child.

It's not uncommon for Japanese, particularly women, to speak of themselves in third-person. It's simply a linguistic peculiarity of Japanese and not indicative of any sort of personality disorder.
Also, Anna Tsuchiya isn't "starting on the right foot." She's been in the entertainment business since '98 and started making music in 2005. She started relatively well-received with her debut in film and modelling and has been relatively tame with a usual menu of J-pop.
Hard core? Doubt it. Raunchy? Enh. I've heard raunchier.

Between that and the track titles she sounds like a real catch

Pukey I think LFR has cleared this up.

Hmm...I think the track title is a misnomer

Hey, if you buy the album tell me if it is bad or not. “Virgin Cat,” she sings, “Snaking tongue, kissing you,” and “All the way in, gently.” Her lyrics are top notch. Very nice. NOT!!!!

So, let's see...if I slut myself out, I can sell for big money, too? Is this the lesson to be learned?

Did people complain about this stuff with Prince?
Besides the religious nutjobs and housewives, I mean.
I'm sure as Hell not gonna listen to this stuff, but the "outrage" says more about the complainers than the complainee.
