They'll be apologizing and making excuses by the end of tomorrow.

Boris Johnson knows where the money's at. Funny that they're both tied to gods.

Is it really "ageing"? I aways thought it was "aging".

They probably had authorization to hold the concert only until 11 p.m. and when that time was reached, they had to shut down or face never being allowed to have the concert in Hyde Park again.

"Born in the USA"
That is an awful song, might as well put a metal trash can over your head and have someone beat on it.

@Serrano, I agree that the official released version is not the best but have you heard the acoustic demo of this song? It's surprisingly really good!
They should have let them play. Why not? It sometimes feels like the 60s never happened. People are too uptight once again.

A.) They're in a park inside a city
B.) It's 11:00 at night.
C.) Even though it's a Saturday night, SOME people living near the park have to get some sleep and go to work in the morning. People buy houses near parks for the tranquility, not all-night rock concerts.
If it had been an indoor venue, then I agree they should have (and probably WOULD have) been allowed to continue.

That is not an "awful song". I shall debate your premise, good sir, with a single point of irrefutable evidence:
The TRUE example of an "awful song" is "Friday" as sang by Rebecca Black
Seven a.m., waking up in the morning
Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein' everything, the time is goin'
Tickin' on and on, everybody's rushin'
Gotta get down to the bus stop
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My friends)

I am in no way a Springsteen...but I must commend him on giving an audience a long concert. I have seen several bands that just come out and play 40 minutes then come back out for an oncore and play 3 more songs....wth. Even though they were cut short it still sounds like they got an ear full...time wise.
