'Suicide Squad' tops foreign box office with $58.7 million

The marketing company behind this should be given a big award. They turned the public from hating the movie last year to loving it.

Secret life of pets was garbage. It could have been much, much better.

Suicide Squad was okay, a rather by the numbers, nothing very imaginative sort of action / effects movie. Notable exceptions were Will Smith, playing Will Smith and Margot Robbie who pulled of the rather unhinged Harley Quinn even upstaging the supposed madness of the Joker who was positively normal by comparison. Karen Fukuhara was understated but at least her Japanese was authentic. They could have made much more of her soul taking katana. The rest of the cast, frankly no one would have missed and maybe it would have been better to have more fatalities among the good bad guys.

I actually want to check this out, most super hero movies have been crap. Batman v Superman was trash. I hope this one is at least entertaining.
