Teenage model Yuka Kuramochi catches groper on train

Bikini model Yuka Kuramochi, 16, said on her official blog that she caught a groper on a train by using karate taught by her manager. In the blog, Kuramochi said a man touched her body on a crowded train on the way to school on Tuesday morning in Tokyo. She says she caught the man when he tried to run away, and dragged him to the police at Shibuya station. The man, 38, was arrested and police told her he gropes women on the train regularly.

Kuramochi said, “In groping cases, some people criticize victims by saying, ‘Their skirts are too short.’ But I would like them to know we high school girls have to wear those uniforms as a school rule and have to take crowded trains every morning.”

Surely her comment was translated wrong. No way do schools issue mini skirts. How long will this trend of short skirts go on? Winter amazes me as they continue to wear them. It is high time some 'gay no jin' (entertainer) has the wisdom to start the trend of longer skirts as this I heard was wear this short skirt thing began ... on TV by an entertainer.

The positive thing I got out of this article was that a groper was actually caught and by the very person she was attacking. I wonder what karate move she used?

yeah this guy deserves all he gets but aside from that the notion of a 16 year old bikini model needs attention, as do the mandatory short skirts in high school. basically its a case of old pervs decide the rules for cheap thrills and thats all there is to it. women need to start saying NO

So many of the schools would love to have it to where their students came in school dress or uniform. What the girls wear is sometimes drastic & there is something about exposing so much of he belly area or whatever. I have seen males with baggy pants of where the crotch is next to the knee level.

I was sent to a private school for a year (many yrs ago) where I had to wear a blazer, a school cap, grey trousers, proper shoes, school tie with a matching shirt.

If this 16 yr old is accustom to wearing bikini dress for photos & money for her work----well then she had best be awear that males might look at her.

Still this bit about her "dragged him to the police at Shibuya station" is a bit hard to believe for no 38 yr old man would be that weak-kneed. I think her imagination got the better of her & her blog.

My message to the ladies would be, yes, it would be great to learn self-defence and karate is a perfect way of being able to defend yourself as a woman in a certain situation. However, I would definitely not recommend that your bikini magazine manager teaches you. The one thing more dangerous than being cuaght in such a situation is trying to use a martial art taught by a non-professional. Go to a local club. I'm sure there are plenty here in Japan.
