TOKYO —
Actress Tomoka Kurotani, 33, has made her first steps into the fitness industry with the upcoming release of her exercise DVD set called “Whipness – Riding Workout,” in which she uses an elastic whip to exercise while simulating horse riding.
Kurotani, a keen horse rider for over 10 years, said the muscles used in riding have helped her maintain her slim body and excellent posture. The four-disc DVD set sees Kurotani making use of an elastic “whip,” which offers different resistance depending on where the user holds or puts it. Users are to follow her lead as she holds various poses and moves in a way similar to riding a horse, including when crossing a river or jumping over obstacles.
Kurotani appeared on TBS program “Saturday Night Chubaw!” last weekend to promote “Whipness,” demonstrating the workout while showing off her own good form. She said: “You get the benefits of horse riding without leaving your home. Let’s work together and aim for that sexy body!”
The DVD set, including elastic whip, goes on sale this Friday for 10,500 yen.

go foward
move ahead
try to detect it

I do believe I would let her ride and whip me for exercise. even though I'm not into the latter.

I stand corrected....
The perils of attempting to recall a conversation with a friend five years ago in which both Oingo Boingo and Devo were mentioned....

That really is a very poor-quality pic with which to illustrate the article. Is that really the best you have, JT?

I can vouch for this, having had a girlfriend who rode horses. Whoa, Nellie! Hot to trot.

Sarge,
you beat me, so to speak, to it. Devo rocks.
Once in a blue moon your posts make sense. Steer clear of politics and stick with music.

Best Whipnest!
zurc - I'd love to steer clear of politics and stick to music, but I've got to move ahead and whip the libs into shape so that they get it straight!

I'll tell you, I used to squire a young equestrian lady, and there are certainly measurable benefits. Kegel exercise were not high on her list of health requirements.
