Great to see Olivia Newton John still working after her health problems. I despise musicals but the sight of Olivia in those pants.....

Their new album, “This Christmas”, includes a song by John Farrar, who wrote their famous pop duet “You’re the One That I Want”.

I've always respected Olivia Newton-John's talent and ability to win over an audience. Farrar has written some of her greatest hits and my personal favorite song of hers: Magic. He deserves a lot of credit too.

I wish both Olivia and John Travolta success with this venture.

P.S. Though panned by critics, and justifiably so -- and although I avoided ever watching it for years -- I happened to catch her movie Xanadu a couple of years ago very late at night. I loved ELO's (and Farrar's) music and many scenes left me thinking that there was a truly great story-line in there trying to get out. Olivia was as fetching as ever as Kira.

I saw Xanadu as a starry-eyed kid and LOVED it! I saw it again a couple months ago and wow, it was awkward. The writing was so bad. That poor male lead had the dorkiest of lines to fail to convincingly deliver. Worth it though, for Gene Kelly! And the music! That is still awesome.

As for this album, I am left to wonder (and off to google) what the Jett Travolta Foundation does with it's money.

That's not going to be pretty!

@Taj, yes Xanadu is a fun movie but is best watched with a tall bottle of shochu.

Still love ONJ though, what a classy lady.

She had a great voice, so I was disappointed at her chops on Glee a couple of years ago.

Oh, boy. I knew someday I'd be forced to agree with yabits on something, but never thought it would be one of my all-time favorite movies, Xanadu. Maybe there is hope for the world after all.
