Check ignition, and may God's love be with you, Major Tom.

And what will people say 50 years from now? Will the legacy last?

Put your helmets on.

Sorry, Iman, no one here mentioned your loss, only theirs, which were/are superficial, compared to yours. I think he's a legend, too, but I feel for you.

"The David Bowie Serious Moonlight Tour was Bowie's longest, largest and most successful concert tour. The tour opened at the Vorst Forest Nationaal, Brussels, on 18 May 1983 and ended in the Hong Kong Coliseum on 8 December 1983; 15 countries visited, 96 performances, and over 2.6M tickets sold." Glad I got a chance to see him perform. If you get the chance, please watch his film "The Man Who Fell To Earth": government fear par excellence. It will be difficult to find, maybe youtube has it.

Ziggy Stardust change my immature thinking. That being sexuality and discrimination. It made a better person. I will go to the ginger now and pay my respect for this great Person.

Bowie was an amazing musician who re-invented himself multiple times to keep his output fresh and original. Indeed, I'm sure his early work probably influenced the technopop movement in Japan in the late 1970's as epitomized from the groundbreaking group Yellow Magic Orchestra.

I would say so. Does his music sound dated? Not at all, whereas the Beatles clearly do - it was of an era, but much of Bowie's stuff transcends era.

You are right about the superficiality, but many many thousands die each day, but we do not mourn for every widow. Bowie only dies once.
