Singer-actress Anna Tsuchiya, 24, and actor Kenji Sakaguchi 32, on Monday attended an event to promote sports brand “Quick Silver” surfing gear in Tokyo. Tsuchiya, who has a 3-year-old son, was asked what she thought of actress Ryoko Shinohara, 34, who has just given birth to a baby boy. “Boys are good because they are active. You can learn many things from having a son. I hope she enjoys child-raising.”

Sakguchi, who played the role of Shinohara’s boyfriend in a TV drama, joked: “Although I was her boyfriend in the drama, I couldn’t become her real-life boyfriend. I don’t know why and I feel a bit sorry.”
