Uno Kanda marks 1st anniversary of brand launch

Fashion designer and celebrity Uno Kanda, 34, attended an event at the Takashimaya department store in Nihonbashi on the weekend to celebrate the first anniversary of her brand “UNO・KANDA.”

Kanda modeled a few new items at the event, including a parasol and gloves for women. “This umbrella cuts out 99.9% of the sun’s rays – making it the first of its kind in the world,” she said.

Kanda’s husband, Takuro Nishimura, a 39-year-old businessman involved in real estate and the pachinko industry, also attended the event. When reporters asked Kanda about a possible sixth wedding ceremony, she turned to him and asked where they would have it next. Nishimura put his hand to his ear and feigned he couldn’t hear her.

I would hope so. This lady is so high maitenance, I wonder if he got to once. I forget, how much does she spend on herself in a day? If I had to choose between the two, Noriko would be the winner in this one.

definitely a Ferrari. But who wouldn't like to get behind the wheel. I'm pretty satisfied with my Mazda though.

Wouldn't think you'd even be allowed to open the door on an Uno Kanda, in case you spoiled the looks. She's just a showroom model.

she is probably the best example of the very worst of modern japanese women: intensive attention on her image and absolutely zero attention on anything else. i imagine she has all the passion of a dead fish and has about as much to say as a newborn. but it seems to work on many, who never look past the facade. and i'm sure she's an excellent trophy wife amongst people who think like this and don't realise that there should be more to life

I've heard her talk on TV enough. She's not as vapid as a lot of women you see on TV here, but she's about as bitchy as it gets. I'd rather have Noriko any day of the week.
