Waka Inoue looking for carnivore partner

Actress Waka Inoue, 28, almost gave the press some big news when she attended the opening ceremony for McDonalds’ Toei Plaza “Quarter Pounder Shop 428” this week. The normal McDonalds restaurant was transformed into a “Shop 428” on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. to celebrate the arrival of the Quarter Pounder to McDonalds menus all over the country.

The actress arrived wearing a special limited-edition T-shirt, the same kind that was given to customers who made purchases at the restaurant during the event. Waka wasn’t shy about her thirst for flesh, saying of both food and romance, “Herbivores may be popular right now, but I love meat, and I need to marry a man who is a carnivore too.”

Referring to the Quarter Pounder advertising campaign, “Big Mouth,” starring Shunsuke Kitajima, the press asked Inoue if she could live up to her own big mouth and big statements. She floored the press, boldly declaring, “I’m getting married next year!” but later took back the statement, claiming, “I meant to say ‘I want to get married,’ but it came out wrong.”

Of her desire to find the right meat-eating man, the actress explained, “Recently I’ve been drinking a lot at home and it’s lonely. When I turn 29, I’m going to get out there and find a husband.”

Take that all you herbivores. At least one woman here in Japan wants a real man. Doubt it will start a trend however. I think we're stuck with the herbivores for a few more years, at least.

A good vegetarian or vegan chef who cooks regularly for his girl could change her mind easy. It is hard to imagine what you have never known. Once you know, its easy to fall in love.

I hope such a guy picks up this challenge.
