I wonder why every article about this film includes the phrase "resident Chinese director" instead of "director" when referring to the director. Is where the director lives as important as the film or is the fact that the director is Chinese more important?
I also wonder if the theater would back out if some thugs disrupted showings in Osaka and Tokyo. If it would, then thuggery will have proven to be effective.
