Foxie, I've met her in New York and she looks at least ten years younger than her age.

    India, you can keep her.

She seems to be pretty genki at age 78.

That's why she is wearing that oversized dark glasses on the tip of her nose all day and night, to cover a great part of her face. And a huge hat. She appears in public always like this. She published a book containing her nude photos at the age of sixty or so, I saw it on the bookshelves in the store, wasn't too heartwarming but a glass of Jagermeister cured my stomach.

She is a born exhibitionist of herself and of her artistic works and crazy for holding exhibitions. I saw some of her artistic works in that book, kitchen blenders, wooden board full of nails hammered in it. I always wonder why Lennon married her. Is something so cool with her, or was something wrong with Lennon. I am not going to be ugly toward her by poking my nose into her marriage until she keeps it as a private matter, but it is her who always covers her head with Lennon to garner more attention.

Will Ms. Ono bring up the plight of impoverished farmers, bride-burning and child labor while being inspired in India?

I think she is great human being! Yes, is a true hero!

Wasn't it the Beatles trip to India in 1968 when the Lennons' marriage started to unravel? I'd keep quiet about the India connection if I were you Yoko. Hero, my ass.

Imagine Yoko in a lead singing role in a Bollywood extravaganza. She could sing Don't Worry, Kyoko--the audience would be sitting in shock listening to that one.

Personally I think I'd rather seek the ultimate curry recipe in India

Have to agree with one other poster here, she can’t hold an interview without mentioning John Lennon, due to it being of no interest with just her as the person of interest. I see no creativity in hammering nails in a cutting board or listening to lyrics with no meaning, but calling it avant-garde to make people believe it makes sense. Oh yeah, going to India to gain “inspiration” but also hold an exhibition. Maybe the good folks of India may pick up the vibes and be inspired as well. Near centenarian Yoko should be channeling her youthful energy to helping the poor in India instead of lifting cash from their pockets. Did I mentioned I don't like this person?
