Yuko Ogura gets married in Hawaii

TOKYO —

“Talent” Yuko Ogura, 27, married hair stylist and make-up artist Isao Kikuchi, 40, in Oahu, Hawaii, on Monday. Only family and close friends attended the ceremony.

On Wednesday, Ogura released a statement to media saying she was “full of happiness.” Commenting that many of her best friends, including Yoko Kumada, Aki Hoshino and Megumi Yasu are all reported to be in relationships or getting married, Ogura said that “I hope my kids and their kids will become classmates one day.”

Another "talento" marrying a hair stylist. Maybe the legions of Japanese male high school students wanting to be hair sylists are on to something. (Back home in Canada a hair stylist marrying a woman isn't usually in the cards)
