Does business agility diminish with scale? Is it unavoidable that the bigger our business becomes, the slower it gets?

Shunsuke Sako's story of transforming Mister Minit Asia Pacific suggests that this is not necessarily the case. Still in his 20s, Sako has been entrusted to lead Mister Minit into the 21st century. His premise: it is possible to turn a big company on a dime... and at least as fast as a start-up.

On Monday, July 14, Sako will join GLOBIS Talks to discuss “The Large Company with a Start-up Spirit.” In an open conversation with Dr Mark Lee Ford and members of the audience, Sako will explain why he chose to jump from a huge Japanese company to a small start-up at the start of his career, how that influenced his unique, hands-on management style, and how he plans to bring further innovation to Mister Minit.

This event promises to offer many insights on bringing innovation to companies both big and small, as well as the importance for Japanese to train themselves to work in a global context.

Date: Monday, July 14 Time: 19:00 - 21:00 Registration Fee: 1,000 yen (includes coffee & snacks) Language: English Venue: GLOBIS Tokyo Campus
