OnJapan CAFÉ (Harajuku) will hold a charity “IZAKAYA” bilingual event to support Kumamoto Earthquake recovery efforts on Saturday May 28.
This event is focused squarely on the sake and shochu (¥200~) of Kyushu. This is shaping up to be a lively night of good food and drink, music, and friends!
Guests will be introduced to products from Kizuki City (Oita), given brief explanations about sake and shochu by local experts Satoko Utsugi and Christopher Pellegrini, and treated to live island music from Amami Oshima!
Also, 30% of all proceeds from food and drink purchases will be donated to the earthquake recovery effort.
No reservations are necessary, and there's no cover for this event. Arrive whenever you want, and stay for as long as you'd like! Small side dishes of food will also be available for purchase (¥200~).
