Kansai Lego® User Group and Canadian Academy present Japan Brickfest 2016, Japan’s largest international fan built Lego event. This will be the 2nd time the event has been held. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend.
It will be held on June 4-5 at the Canadian Academy, Rokko Island, Kobe.
There will be over 100 AFOL (Adult Fans of Lego) participating from all over Japan as well as five groups from overseas to participate, some from as far away as Australia.
There will be hundreds of impressive Lego models including trains, spaceships, robots, castles, a working GBC (Great Ball Contraption) by the famous builder Akiyuki who has over 14 million views on YouTube. He will also be holding his first workshop.
There will also be food stalls, live entertainment, a Lego® flea market, play areas for the kids, activity workshops to participate in, spot prizes for customs, treasure hunts and much more.
One of the main events will be the Japan Brickfest Brick Master competition to see who will be crowned child and adult brick master builders for 2016.
Through this event, organizers also hope to inspire creativity, show people anything is possible and raise money to help Japanese children’s charities. donated.

Tickets are 300 yen for children up to junior high school age and 500 yen for adults. No charge for children under three.
