Maiko photo exhibit, Zen meditation and sake tasting at Marunouchi

TOKYO —

Marunouchi’s Cafe Seek is offering a host of activities in October welcoming international guests, including a special photo exhibition featuring maiko in Kyoto, Zen meditation sessions led by a deputy priest from Kyoto on Friday, Oct. 12, as well as a special sake tasting bar immediately following, from 8-9 p.m. on the same day.  All activities are free of charge. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis.

1. Kyoto Maiko Photo Exhibit

When: Oct 8-30

2. “Zen Experience” Meditation Sessions

When: Friday, Oct 12

Session 1: 2 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Session 2: 3 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Session 3: 7 p.m.-8 p.m.

All sessions are led by a deputy priest of Myoshinji Taizoin temple in Kyoto

3. Sake Tasting Bar

When: Friday, Oct 12

8 p.m. ~ 9 p.m.

Admission is free for all events
