Poland New Music Festival
TOKYO —
Vienna-based Japanese guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi makes a return trip to Japan, bringing with him a crew of nine talented Polish musicians, all of whom will make their debut performances in Japan at the Poland New Music Festival, a two-day extravaganza of experimental jazz and avant-garde improvised music at the Pit Inn in Shinjuku.
Day 1 will feature back-to-back performances by the visiting musicians, while on Day 2 the visitors will team up with local musicians in a series of improvisational performances. Instruments range from sax, clarinet and violin to mandolin and electronics.

Modern jazz has always been a big deal in Poland, if I remember correctly. Not my cup of tea personally, but this does sound worth a go.
