Electronic treadmill

TOKYO —
Manufacturer Alinco will release an electronic walking treadmill—the Electric Walker 3010—that comes with voice guidance. An electronic voice tells exercisers if they are pushing themselves too hard or not enough, and announces changes to speed and incline.
Heart rate is measured by gripping a pulse sensor on the unit’s handle. Various settings for incline are also included. The unit can also be folded for storage.
Expected retail price is 50,000 yen.

Electric Walker 3010
I want one of these just for the name.
It sounds like something from the future.

For 50,000 yen, I rather travel to a beach resort and exercise by swimming in the ocean. That would be much more fun than listening to a treadmill talk to you and direct you on how to exercise.
