For dry-eye syndrome
New Products ( 11 )
In Japan, there are said to be 8 to 10 million people who use computers for work, as well and the elderly, who experience dry eyes. This product was developed to alleviate the discomfort of dry-eye syndrome.
By placing the product on the frame of glasses worn daily, the cover lessens exposure to the air, preventing the eyes from over-drying. A water-retaining sheet can also be attached to maintain moisture within the cover.
The cover is curved to fit the contour of the face, and is also recommended for people suffer hay fever.
Available in three sizes (S, M, L) and three shades (transparent, light brown and brown.) Currently on sale at 2,940 yen at drug stores and eye clinics.

I suffer with hayfever and dry eyes. Fortunately, at least right now, I don`t suffer with everyone in the street laughing at the glasses on my sorry face. I would like to keep that going, at least for now.
My vote is for eye drops!

I'm guessing that this is mostly designed for those times when you're hunkered down alone in your (possibly kerosene-heated) room/cubicle for 12 hours straight doing work/schoolwork/playing games, and no one has to see you.
I'm constantly amazed at the clever little ways we come up with to make our unhealthy, antisocial behavior more comfortable, rather than having to try to minimize the need for it!

I expect to see it soon at my local 100 yen shop.

There are special "anti-tiring" glasses for gamers staring at the screen for hours on end. There's glasses for everything.

I recommend blueberry and casis extracts, extract of marygold (contains lutein) and DHA.

Yeah, agreed LoveUSA.
Also, opening the window works wonders too.

Dry eyes is not cause by the eyes drying but rather by the need for a good eye check up and the correct prescription. I fixed my dry eye problem with that. Check it out.
