Burger King introduces pumpkin burger for Halloween

Burger King Japan, forever in the shadow of the golden arches, is always looking for new ways to attract customers. They’ve already tried selling 15 bacon strips (resulting in a 105 strip bacon burger) and turned to the dark side with their completely black Kuro Burger.

This time, Burger King Japan will release a fall-inspired burger filled with pumpkin.

Starting Friday, the fall season’s “BK Pumpkin” burger will be available for 310 yen until the end of December. The BK Pumpkin is served on a “double slit sesame bun” which was made to mimic the color and shape of a real pumpkin. The burger also includes fried pumpkin, bacon, lettuce, and a flame broiled beef patty. The real kicker is the special nut sauce, which includes a blend of peanuts, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, and sesame.

For a limited time only, Burger King Japan is offering an even bigger pile of pumpkin for your burger. Until Nov 17, BK patrons can quintuple the "kabocha" for an additional 100 yen.
