Luckily you never see the "King" at any BK shops in Japan. Last time I had a Whopper there, it upset my stomach though.

Burger King in Japan continues its expansion. Just opened a shop in Kyoto last week.

Wouldn't it be relevent to tell us about BK in Japan?

Had a great Whopper with cheese and Yebisu in Osaka branch a couple of weeks ago.

Burger King's here in Tokyo often appear understaffed and mismanaged with few customers despite having a far superior product to the packed MickeyD's which are often right next door. What gives ? And the clerks they do have are usually poorly trained and more often than not prone to quit within a few weeks as they never have the same people at the counter. I bet all BKs will be gone in the next few years just like they did last time. Yet, their burgers are ever so tasty. Pity.

Yuk this rubbish is worse than mcdonalds if that is possible.

Of all the fast food I've eaten the Whopper stands out as an oddity. It tastes the exact same no matter where in the world it's served.

No more so than a bad local chain. It's all relative anyway, I keep enough condiments in the company car to make anything paletable.

There's one in Osaka? I heard one would open up this September, didn't know it was already open. I like Burger King much better than McDonald's, have to make a trip to Osaka.

I do love the Chik-Fil-A cows, that's a brilliant ad campaign.

Have you tried them all then? That is not what I find at the BKs I have visited in Tokyo. I like BK, when my monthly burger craving kicks in that is where I go.

I go to BK only once in a blue moon but I feel that their Whopper's taste better than McDonald's's Bic Macs. Unfortunately, BK's sides are pretty horrible.

I think BK Japan would do well to cater more to the local audience. The news said they're testing out spam burgers but what about Sasebo burgers? Or maybe take a sheet from the MOS playbook and offer rice burgers (which are quite tasty).

MOS has the best fries. Maybe BK should try that.
