Ever tried risotto made with Van Houten cocoa?

Dutch brand Van Houten has been one of the most popular cocoa powders in Japan since 1977. To give the brand a bigger push, importer Kataoka Bussan Co has launched a new collaborative campaign with THE THEATRE TABLE, an Italian restaurant on the 11th floor of the Hikarie building in Shibuya.

Starting Nov 26 and running through Dec 29, The Theatre Table offers a special Van Houten menu: Roasted Foie Gras with Van Houten Cocoa Risotto (2,000 yen) and Van Houten Chocolate Parfait (1,200 yen).

“I want everyone to discover the possibility of cocoa powder through my creation," said Michelin-starred chef Shiniji Harada who supervised the special menu.

During the campaign, Van Houten stick cocoa sets will be given to every guest who orders the special menu.
