Really? They want to breed tastier tomatoes? I find this hard to believe as tomatoes used to be much tastier when they weren't so round and red. The misshapen tomatoes with orange, yellow and even green mixed in with the red were much tastier than the watery, round, red ones that supermarkets sell.

Will Japanese people still think Japanese rice is the best in the world if it it mixed with African genomes? I suppose so because no one will tell them that it has been altered and they probably won't notice any difference.
