Grand Hyatt Tokyo to host Soirée Blanche 2015

The Grand Hyatt Tokyo will hold a series of luxurious French summer events at The French Kitchen — all dubbed Soirée Blanche 2015 — which will launch on Saturday.

Originating in the 1970s in southern France, Soirée Blanche was a summer event where guests dressed in all white. Many celebrities at the time enjoyed their summers in the French Riviera, and these swanky gatherings were born in the little Mediterranean town of Saint-Tropez. This summer, Grand Hyatt Tokyo will reproduce the glitz and glamour of this period, adorning The French Kitchen’s airy terrace and bar in white to reflect Saint-Tropez’s exclusive ambience.

Guests will be invited to dress in all white and enjoy three hours of free-flow Champagne and themed beverages, as well as food from the grill. The hotel's resident DJ will complete this summer lounge vibe with relaxing music perfectly paired with the atmosphere.

The dress code will be white, the state of mind will be azure.

Date and Time: May 30, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Event will be offered multiple times (6/27, 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, 8/29, 9/19, 10/10) Location: Terrace of The French Kitchen Dress Code: All white Reservations required. Please contact the restaurant by phone (03 4333 8781) or at restaurants.tokyo.grand.hyatt.com/french-kitchen-tokyo/news/soiree-blanche.html

Menu: 10,000 yen per person (subject to tax and a service charge) Beverages: Free-flow Champagne; white, red and rosé wines; house spirits and cocktails such as piña coladas and mojitos Food: Unlimited meat, fish and vegetables from the BBQ grill Truffle and parmesan fried potatoes (served by the basket on tables) and light dessert
