The 125 year-old Imperial Hotel in Tokyo welcomes Hôtel du Palais Biarritz’s award-winning Executive Chef Jean Marie Gautier from April 13 through 19 for a culinary celebration of contemporary French dining in The Imperial's popular French dining room, Les Saisons.

Chef Jean Marie Gautier won the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” award in 1991. At Les Saisons, Chef Gautier will produce luscious table d'hote selections from the Hôtel du Palais’ most frequently ordered dishes, and on the evening of Thursday, April 16th, Chef Gautier will join forces with Les Saisons' acclaimed Chef Thierry Voisin to create a very special Gala Dinner for a limited audience of 48 patrons.

Lunch at Les Saisons, on the Mezzanine of The Imperial's Main Building, is served daily between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with dinner service from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., nightly. The Hôtel du Palais’ magnificent table d'hote luncheons are ¥9,800, ¥13,500 and ¥19,500 per person. Elegant, full course dinners by Chef Gautier are ¥22,000, ¥27,000 and ¥36,000 per person. The sumptuous, multi-course Gautier-Voisin Gala Dinner on the evening of April 16th is ¥78,000 per person, inclusive of tax, exclusive of a 10% service charge.

Advance reservations are highly recommended at 03-3539-8087.

The Hôtel du Palais is located on the Atlantic coast of the beach resort town of Biarritz, on the Côte Basque in the French department of South-West. It was originally built for Napoleon III‘s wife, Empress Eugénie, around 1855 as a summer villa. The hotel opened in 1893. The hotel houses 154 rooms and includes the excellent, one-Michelin-starred La Villa Eugenie restaurant, and the world-renowned Imperial Resort and Spa. The hotel was awarded the title of "Palace", given to only 16 hotels in the French five star category, in 2011.
