Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Karnival

TOKYO —

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will launch a new campaign, Chocolate KARNIVAL, to release various new chocolate doughnuts in three phases from Jan 11 to March 14.

For the first phase, Almond Ghana Choco Heart and Strawberry Creamy Choco Heart will be sold from Jan 11 to Feb 14. Chocolate & chocolate and Sprinkle & chocolate are next, from Feb 1 to March 14. The third phase sees the release of Double nuts & chocolate from Feb 15 to March 14.

Furthermore, there are three kinds of dozen boxes for Chocolate KARNIVAL.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will also sell a “mini box” with chocolate dough from Feb 1 to March 14.

    partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil yeast nutrients (calcium sulfate, ammonium sulfate dough conditioners (calcium dioxide, monocalcium and dicalcium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, sodium stearoyl-2-lacrylate calcium propionate artificial flavors, fungal alpha amylase, amylase, maltogenic amylase, pantosenase, protease, sodium caseinate, corn maltodextrin, corn syrup solids and BHT (to help protect flavor). Glaze also may contain: Calcium carbonate, disodium phosphate, and sorbitan monostearate.

    psychopa---so true!!! Me, I buy mine from a local place where the family bakes them on the spot. No chain or franchaise. Honest cake donuts and really good!

    My taste buds are ready for the chocolate invasion. As for Tokyotom's question ... no, there are no lines stretching "across the bridge" anymore at the Shinjuku plaza location. That is one of the places I usually chow down on my doughnuts & iced lattes ... and I haven't had to deal with a long line in ages. At the most, a handful of customers in front of me ... five minutes wait at most ... The same holds true at the Yurakucho site ... Krispy Kreme's first outlet in Japan.
