Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris chef shows off epicurean pizazz at Imperial Tokyo

World renowned Chef Laurent Andre of the sumptuous Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris Hotel's Restaurant La Cuisine will preside in the kitchen of La Brasserie, the French dining room which opened in 1983 as Japan's first brasserie inside Tokyo's legendary Imperial Hotel, from Monday, Jan 20 through Sunday, Jan 26.

Offering signature dishes from Restaurant La Cuisine, Chef Andre will prepare a tantalizing selection of luncheon and dinner favorites in table d'hote formats for a reasonable ¥6,000, ¥8,000 or ¥10,000 per person from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and from ¥10,000 or ¥13,000 per person during dinner service, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The dishes will eloquently reflect Chef Andre's years of experience with Alain Ducasse at the Michelin 3 star Louis XV in Monaco and at Ducasse's celebrated Spoon By Alain Ducasse in Paris, London and Hong Kong.

The event is being offered to Imperial Hotel patrons in conjunction with the 2010 reopening of Le Royal Monceau, a beloved Parisian landmark since 1928, under the prestigious Raffles Hotels and Resorts umbrella, created by celebrity designer Philippe Starck. Raffles operates an impressive network of five star and often classic landmark hotels in Singapore, Cambodia, Southeast Asia, China and Europe.

Advance reservations are suggested and may be made by calling La Brasserie at 03-3539-8073.
