The Park Hyatt Tokyo is offering its annual Christmas dessert and gift set selection from Pastry Boutique for this coming holiday season.

Newly-appointed Executive Pastry Chef Pascal Cialdella will debut a range of his French-inspired holiday cakes and desserts at Pastry Boutique this winter. This enticing Christmas selection includes two original choices of the traditional festive French dessert, Buche de Noel (4,000 yen), a special dessert from his hometown of Lorraine, the Gateau Nonette (3,200 yen), as well as a number of other stylish French delights, such as the Muscadine Luge (4,600 yen), an elegantly crafted chocolate sleigh that will make for a perfect decorative Christmas treat.

A range of Christmas cakes, winter gift sets, and a holiday selection will also be available to purchase at Pastry Boutique.

The Noel de Chef (8,000 yen) contains a delicious assortment of European-style Christmas desserts by Chef Cialdella. Enjoy his original recipes of kugelhopf marble cake, speculoos, traditional stollen, kipferls, dried-fruits mandian, and muscadine chocolate, all in one special gift set.

Love that hotel, especially the New York Grill. Was just there on Tuesday. As far as I could tell, every restaurant and tea lounge was full all afternoon. The Christmas cake industry must be worth billions of yen in Japan. I wonder if they'll have enough butter this year.
