Good luck with that. Never heard of anyone going to America for the food, and can't see it happening anytime soon. While there are good restaurants, Americans in general don't appreciate fine cuisine, or even good food. Unless there's a cultural shift, it will stay that way.

Agree with commanteer. "American cuisine" reminds me of bacon strips, hamburger donuts and fried potato sticks. They already exported all of that everywhere, tourists don't need to go there to try those specials.

I'm not a fan of the U.S. government, but as a country it does have some excellent fusion cooking. It also has a lot of European recipes that it tries to pretend are U.S. recipes, I can't figure out if it is ignorance or some misplaced idea that patriotism is trying to pretend that everything was invented in the U.S.
"American cuisine" is a lot like "American culture", it consists of them grabbing everything in sight and claiming it was theirs all along. The more I look at America the more I'm convinced they're like ancient Rome, and that they'll end the same way.
