I wonder if the doctor's office can use this great system. The clinics always ask you to come 15 minutes before your appointment but you are usually seen by doctor about an hour later!!

Old story, the sushi place I go whenever I am in Toyama has a system where you make your reservation from your mobile (not even smart phone) and gives you a message when you are getting close to the head of the line, asking you to come near the entrance. Sadly, we still had to wait because there was only one staff to run the cashier and get new customers to their tables.
