Well, I'm from the US but sure love many of those UK programs;
The Avengers, Star Trek (all versions), Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett), Dr Who (all versions), Thunderbirds (60s version), Combat, The Invaders, The Office (US version), 30 Rock, and as a dirty pleasure - Dallas....
I'm from New Zealand so I've seen UK and US shows. Here's my all time favourite shows (in no particular order):Star Trek, Hill Street Blues, House, 4400, Dr Who, Lost, CSI, Capt Scarlett, E.R, Welcome back Kotter.
In no particular order: The Office (US or UK, both great); The Daily Show; House; South Park; Curb Your Enthusiasm; Extras; The Simpsons; Cops; Kitchen Nightmares; and Dateline with Chris Hansen when they bust child predators.
Saturday Night Live, Star Trek, 60 Minutes, Ren & Stimpy, Kolchak - the Night Stalker, the Muppet Show, Space 1999, A&E's Poirot, MTV's Headbangers Ball. The Nanny. PS - Ultraman !!! Shuwatch !!!
Millenium
Homicide
The Shield
The Equalizer
La Femme Nikita
X-Files
Battle Star Galactica (modern one not the '80s show)
Star Trek
Star Trek Next Generation
Cheers
Buffy the vampire slayer (and the spinoff Angel), The Daily Show, any form of Law and Order, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Prince of Tennis, Yakitate!! Japan, Magic Knight Rayearth, Death Note, Sailor Moon, any gundam series (except SD gundam)
Married with Children
Friends
CSI (all)
Charles in Charge
That 70's show
Threes company
Perfect Strangers
Who's the Boss
Family Guy

Not in any particular order; was just trying to think of some.
I'd just like to say thanks to all of you for your great lists. There are so many great shows that I had forgotten, but reading all your lists today put a big smile on my face when I remembered them. Especially the brilliance of John Cleese in Fawlty Towers and the excellent Grey's Anatomy. There's just one more I want to add, because I'm a huge Rowan Atkinson fan, it's Black Adder!!
10? that's a lot. Hmm. Prison Break, early season ER and X-files, Star Trek (org), SATC, CSI Las Vegas, Monk, Thin Blue Line, Monty Python, ahh one more to go.
Sanford and Son; 9. MAS*H; 8. The Dick van Dyke Show; 7. Cheers; 6. The Odd Couple; 5. Newhart (Vermont); 4. Twin Peaks; 3. Rocky and Bullwinkle; 2. Moonlighting; 1. The Larry Sanders Show.
Grew up in Australia. The one series that sticks in my mind the most is the Young Ones (the four loonies sharing a flat). I also liked Star Trek and some of the more unusual British shows on Australian TV. Anyone remember Blakes 7? I also liked Not the 9 O'Clock News, however, I was usually ushered off to bed when it came on.
MASH,
The Brady Bunch,
Happy Days,
All in the Family,
Little House on the Prairie,
Family Affair,
Kolchak: The Night Stalker,
What's Happening,
I Dream of Jeannie,
Good Times
Jeeves and Wooster, Blackadder, A Country Practice, All Creatures Great and Small, Lost in Space, Columbo, The High Chaparral, Fawlty Towers, Brideshead Revisited, Keeping Up Appearances.
The best? Probably Jeeves and Wooster where Hugh Laurie is sublime as Bertie Wooster.

I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s, so my list will be no surprise. Here are my 10 in no particular order.
If I am allowed a "reserve," then it would be "I Dream of Jeannie."

Hmm. This may have to be a work in progress...
Simpsons - Kinda sucks now but it was amazing for the first 5 seasons or so.
Battle Star Galactica (new one) - So Starbuck is a girl. Suck it up old timers, and watch one of the best series ever made!
The Office (U.S.) - Dwight... Need I say more?
Friends - cleo reminded me. Thanks.
Daily Show - John is awesome
Sopranos - Thanks DenDon
Bleach - There is a little otaku in all of us. Don't lie!
Man vs. Wild - Ya, its not fully real and Bear is somewhat of a hack, but I do love those survival shows.
Two more to come when I think of em.

Seriously? So I guess those disfigured (one far more than the other) beasts do have fans....
Dont see many J-shows here (and for good reason) but London Hearts, Q-Sama, and Nep League are fun.
