Cut out bread, especially wheat. Naan bread included. x3
Eat slowly, and only about 8/10ths of what you can manage. Mice fed 80% of their meals were much healthier than those on 100% diet.
Eat an apple or even half an apple before you sleep.

Self-induced purging works for me, and I can go back again and again. Just don't do this in front of a law enforcement officer at one of those un-Constitutional MADD stops. I found out a couple of officers didn't share my finely honed sense of humor (humour for you Euros).
Anyhoo, that's how I can maintain my five-foot-four 320-pound physique.

Before I go to the party, I always drop at the drug store and take some medicine tablets for this. Or taking a glass of milk before eating is good, I've heard. Milk protects the stomach like barrier and you do not feel like eating so much.

Don't swill as much beer as you can simply because there's a time limit. Or, if you DO plan on just getting ripped to get your money's worth, stick to beverages with less carbonation. For food, avoid the carbs as much as possible, and if you're going to booze it there's no need to go nuts on hot-pot soups.
