Can be summed up in one phrase: "the shorter the better". If that look turns you on, then this was a great winter. Personally, it got old for me back in November. Is there no real individual "fashion style" here? Just pure copycat?

Yummy! Please keep copying as much as you want. You warm the cockles of this old man's heart.

I can do without the denim shorts over black tights. Miniskirts over tights for winter, please.

    Those were the conservative girls.

The liberal girls were all out, to short mini, hip high stockings and long boots.

Why does the lord challenge my faithfulness to my wife.

What do you think of young Japanese women's fashion style this winter?

    It's okay. I guess.

Nice to watch the ladies. If you are married, just remember the difference between "window shopping and shop-lifting" (see Johnny Cash for excerpt from song in this case).

I think there is link with their "fashion" sense and this being one of top years for colds and other illnesses.

JT, why on earth do you we're all stuck with this country? Of course we love their style in winter, summer, spring and fall. And good you mentioned "women" in the title, anything less than college dress awful

Young girls dress up provocatively, extremely short skirts which indicates that they are openly "advertising" their "availability" and yet they are playing "hard to get" game with their nose all the way up as far as it can go...However, no doubts about their cute style this winter.

    Ditto with natosucks

I've been to a few fashion events catered to young women this winter and I really don't understand the appeal of wearing the exact outfit as your favorite model. I love people who follow the trends but make the outfit their own. Also as a Canuck, the denim cut offs in winter make my stomach turn. Miniskirt over tights is much classier.

If the young ladies wish to freeze their upper luscious thighs all winter I am sure it is fine with just about everyone looking on. I am only jealous that I can't pull that look off anymore. :-D

Ask a young lady standing at a station as a bullet train goes past how she feel about the fashion and carry an extra jacket you might get a date!!

Fashion style. The only two words that are redundant and oxymoronic at the same time.

    exciting

    FASHION is really representing yourself.

I am glad they are taking a " FASHION RISK " !!! That is what real fashion is. Being a " RISK TAKER ". When I first came here I have never seen so any women in mini skirts. Bare skin in Go Girls !!! Live your Life !!!!!

Style? What style? Style is style, fashion is fashion. There are about 5 women in this whole country who have what I would call "style". Fashion comes from magazines - style, you either have it, or you don't.

What do you think of young Japanese women's fashion style this winter?

i like it. i love it much more than the fashion of their north american counterparts. it's rivalled only by the winter fashion of italian women.

same as their summer outfit. they wear minis, show their panties. boring.

i'm afraid i don't believe in japanese style. 99.9% of people are just copying styles from magazines. don't get me wrong, sometimes the results look fabulous (can't fault their dedication) but at other times i'm absolutely dumbfounded

fashion is, after all, so ugly it has to be changed every 3 months

haven't spotted any specific trends that are going around at the moment though
