have your say

What policies, if any, would you give Prime Minister Shinzo Abe high marks for during the past 12 months?

If I were a corrupt politician who wanted to cover what he or his friends "in high places" were doing or intended to do, I'd go for Abe's "Secrecy Bill."

That would get top marks.

"Making China and Korea really angry". A+

Boosting the Japanese economy! That's it!

Is snappy dress sense a policy? Because otherwise I'm drawing a blank.

Well, this question has been up there for 12 hours and so far, NOBODY has been able to come up with ANYTHING that would give Abe high marks for the last 12 months.

Come on guys?

Isn't there anything good this guy has done?

Doesn't the face staring back at you in the "Photo of the Day" inspire you?

Trying to drag the economy out of the doldrums, so far he has succeeded in turning things around, weakening the yen has helped the manufacturers and export related business sector see some improvement.

Atleast he has tried to do something.

The return of the yen has been great for us, and we'll be repaying the favor with lots of taxes and more hiring. A lot of the other stuff, wasting our money building up defense for rocks in the Pacific, not so much.

Abe claims Fukushima food keeps him healthy

PM Shinzo ignores a serious problem that is detrimental to the young by saying nuclear radioactivity is good for him. High Marks

Well, here we are 30 hours on and nobody has anything positive to say about Abe.

Plenty of sarcasm.

But apart from that, there's only StormR's comment that has anything good to say about the guy.

Looks like fail, Shinzo-san.
