Independence Day -
the whole entire movie ! ! ! !
The dog at the last minute avoiding nuclear explosion by dodging it and going inside a tunnel.
The long winded Presidential Speech - total garbage script writting
People were comparing this movie to Star Wars Wat Da Fock ??????
And showing this movie for 1 year at all the movie theaters in North America. I sh!t you not !!!!
The Day The Earth Stood Still (2nd Gen.) - Totally garbage from begining to end
X Men First Class vs. Origins: Wolverine
Why in the Wolverine movie
Professor X was standing by the helicopter helping mutants ( rescuing cyclops )
VS. The built that paralized him around 1960`s ( cyclops brother Havox )
Usually any scene where you can predict well in advance what is going to happen. Why do directors feel they have to lead us down the path? Specifically, I hate romantic comedies where the guy and woman always end up together. Why can't just for once, the woman tell the guy, "Sorry, you're not my type. Please don't call me again."
In monster movies, whenever someone wanders off alone and you just know they are going to get picked off. This happened, most recently in "Super 8." I don't know how many times I said to a character, "OK, you heard a noise outside. But it's dark, so don't go out to investigate." But, no, the dummy has to have a look.
The scene where an unessential character gets camera time and does an 'academy award' speech about his past, family or dreams. Then dies real soon after that.
When a character (usually female) goes into her apartment - at night/after hearing suspicious noises/after being stalked or something, and DOESN'T TURN ON THE LIGHTS!
A. Cars driving on snow or ice squeal their tires.
B. People driving cars that are out of control will go hundreds of meters without thinking of stepping on the brakes.
C. People being chased by bad guys always run from the busy street full of people to some deserted street or abandoned building unless the makers of the movie want him to get away in which case all he has to do is run outside and find a parade, borrow a hat and blend in.
D. People, usually girls, when being chased in a house, run upstairs where there is no exit. (In fact, I cannot go to scary movies such as "Scream" etc. because it make others in the audience angry when I laugh uncontrollably during the 'scary' parts and yell things like "Run upstairs, there's no exit!" just before they do exactly that.)
I always start shouting when, in the horror film, they've established there's a crazed killer/ nameless monster/ shambling zombie picking off the survivors, and they decide, rather than hide out together and fight as a team, some buffoon says, "You check upstairs, I'll take the cellar, and you (pregnant lady/ promiscuous party girl) stay here".
The most annoying drama I ever watched was Fuyu no sakura,. Too resume it, you need two words: daijobu and arigatou, repeated zillions of times. If I hear these words together one more time, I will hit the roof.
I must tell all of you that you had me crying with laughter. This is the best question ever put on this site. I agree with all the posts for the first time in my life.
One of the worst movies and scenes in it was with Jurassic Park. When that fat guy tries to drive away, loses his specks and thinks that little tiny dinosaur was cute and WE ALL new he was going to be dinner. I hated that movie. It was so predictable.
Okay I really hate watching a movie and the story is incomplete! Or it is a setup for a sequal and they don't tell you beforehand. Have to wait a year to find out what happens or forever because the second part does not come out....(Last Airbender, Golden Compass)
Just watched Skyline and the whole family was yelling in anger because suprisingly the movie was getting good.

Movies with obligatory car chase scenes. No one has ever bettered "Bullit" anyway.

@Virtuoso:
Have you never seen "The French Connection"?

Yeah, and even if they actually do, they kiss like fishes (read: lifeless). I mean, c'mon!

Soldiers or bad guys shooting at nothIng. Arnold was in two movies with this.
One: The bad guys fired their weapons at an empty elevator until their guns were empty, too. Couldn't they see Arnie wasn't there?
Two: The good guys emptied their weapons into the jungle. And if the invisible monster showed up? They'd be helpless.
A (usually) woman running always trips on nothing and falls.
In Japanese movies: when the OL or recently hired young guy lives in a huge apartment with a view of the Rainbow Bridge.
