Something tells me they didn't check out TB. Tuberculosis spores from Egyptian tombs have caused unwary archeologists to get very sick. Talk about a "blast from the past"; this may be the one. If it presents as a skin infection, the name is Scrofula which used to be common in the Middle Ages and rather gross.

Sounds like it's a good idea to bring some oshibori on planes and give things a good wipe-down before takeoff; especially with the drug-resistant 'superbugs' on the rise!

No surprise here, I will continue what I have been doing to protect myself.

I am wearing a high quality surgical mask while flying and keeping my immune system to the top shape.

And, of course, I do a lot of praying.....
