Herbal supplements are an attractive alternative to pharmaceuticals, however the therapeutic efficacy of an herbal product can only be guaranteed with tests to verify authenticity, potency, purity, and safety. Herbs are actually receive less governmental regulations, so I think it's important to be aware of how both industries are regulated, and to do your own homework or research when deciding which treatment is right for you and find out all you can before making any herb or drug a regular part of your health routine. Therefore so many people are taking alternative medicines these days that some conventional medical practitioners are becoming better informed and more accepting of these treatments.
