I used to be a body builder before coming to Japan. I was pretty huge. Not massive, but well muscled. Then I came to Japan, and my first few years here I got downright fat. And it was so bad for my health, I was falling apart. I was always tired, no motivation, and various health issues. I then started exercising and getting myself to a healthy fit weight again, and the difference was night and day. I sleep better, feel better, have more energy all the time.

Being overweight is cheating yourself out of life. If you are overweight, take the time to do some exercise regularly. You'll thank yourself for it.
