I gave up smoking over 40 years ago. Vaping may or may not be safer than smoking, but why would I want to put smoke directly into my lungs, if I don't currently smoke?

Is vaping designed solely for those who already smoke? Still not sure that it is better than a cigarette. Several studies have said otherwise. Who do I believe?

"Who do I believe?" - comments

"e-cigarettes produce the toxic chemical formaldehyde, which could make the devices up to 15 times more cancerous than regular cigarettes" - article

"It would be a shame if this study persuaded smokers who cannot or do not want to stop smoking and contemplate vaping that they might as well stick to their deadly cigarettes.” - Peter Hajek, director of the Tobacco Dependence Research Unit at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry

"Conclusions: ECs generate vapor that contains nicotine, but EC brands and models differ in their efficacy and consistency of nicotine vaporization. In ECs, which vaporize nicotine effectively, the amount inhaled from 15 puffs is lower compared with smoking a conventional cigarette." - reference: http://ntr.oxfordjournals.org/content/15/1/158.abstract

Vaping or E-cigs have two strikes against them. In an unregulated state, as many currently are, Oxford reports wide variation in Nicotine delivery. In an unregulated state the manufacturer and vendor (a bigger danger) is free to manipulate the delivery system freeing resources to market to children and teens.

The message then is, these drug delivery devices (Nicotine) aren't toys. Using vape without knowing what is in the solution is the biggest danger to the user. The larger danger is the direct marketing to a whole new generation of addicts.

Who should 'you' believe? Believe this: the reliability of the device to produce what and how much of chemicals that can kill you is 100%. Regulation and restriction of vape to medical treatment is a public health issue. Insurance Companies will not pay for cancer the vape user creates, so the general public will and so far leaving people to die in the streets hasn't been adopted as an option.

-Get a ultrasonic vape.

--> They use formaldehyde in immunizations also.

Well, make them so they only heat to a safe level. Problem solved...just like when cars are computer controlled; no more, so called," accidents".
