There are so many myths that portray fat and cholesterol as one of the worst foods you can consume and is harming health. You have to understand that total cholesterol is not a total indicator of your heart disease risk. In conventional medicine when they see increase cholesterol circulating in your bloodstream, they conclude that it, not the underlying damage to your arteries is the cause of heart attacks. Then they recommend that drugs is the way to reduce your heart attacks. Cholesterol is neither good or bad. Cholesterol is cholesterol, a friend and not an enemy. There is no life on earth that can live without cholesterol because it is a vital component of every cell membrane on earth and we would not be here without it. It is a precursor to all of the steroid hormones. You cannot make estrogen, testosterone, cortisone, and a host of other vital hormones without cholesterol. Thus for the vast majority of people making a few life style changes cause healthy cholesterol levels to naturally occur. In the end your health really is in your hands and it's up to you to take control and shape it into something great.
