If they release a set of magnetic organs, the wife will get a complete body stuck on the refrigerator.

No kidding re "Years of testing".

Releasing magnetic nanobeads into humans? What if the "bio-spleen" doesn't get all of them?

Wow, the implications of this is enormous and could possibly lead to other cures. I wonder if they would be able bind to proteins and viruses.

This seems to be similar to a dialysis machine, but is important for two reasons:

Antibiotics are becoming increasingly ineffective as modern bacteria and fungi adapt

Antibiotics have no effect on viruses.

This has nothing to do with "traditional magnetic cures."

Pretty clear the toxin-absorbing nanobeads will be outside the body, and will attach to the bad stuff in the blood, then collect at the magnetized area to be removed. The cleansed blood then goes back into the patient.

The problem I see as a layman is that a disease won't just be in the blood, but in tissue cells as well. So these will not be part of the body fluids that can be recirculated in quite a range of diseases.

A start, though!

Hope this trial can treat cancer patients.
