Great! Way to go!!

As I have noted previously, Japan needs to get out of box for innovation.

Iphone has been in use for 30 days heart monitoring for diagnostic purpose. Patients are given monitoring devices with iphone, they can go anywhere in US while transmitting cardiac beats, 02 saturations and body temperatures. This is very cost effective and accurate. This is not available in Japan.

You guys need a bang innovation for survival in global economy. Be creative and be a risk taker. Engineers and Scientists need to work with medical industry.

This sort of invention is is mind boggling! this begs the question if it goes into production, will the public get hold of this attachment, will they start asking there new dates or partners to take a test?

$18,000 for diagnostic tests. You must be joking. I n many countries including Japan there is free VD testing. A test done privately should not cost more than a few thousand yen.

Perhaps there should be a Nobel Prize for technological achievement?

That cost is for lab techs, laboratories and supplies. It is not a consumers out of pocket cost. That cost may be $75.-$100. USD. This could be scary. What happens when you get a false negative or positive. People who feel they have nothing else to live for can do many extreme things. Even harm others. Just my opinion...v
