There was a study about the calory burn rate of Hadza tribe in Africa, the researchers concluded that "despite high physical activity levels, the Hadza's total daily energy expenditure was similar to that of Westerners.", the difference was the Hadza eat much less.
It's not what you do, it's what you eat.
