Too much information? Birth control choices abound

Sad, this article was nearly at the bottom of JapanToday's website. I wish Japanese women would use contraceptives more. It is not fair that the man has to sacrifice any pleasure from copulation due to the fact that J-Girls receive no education about birth control.

What is truly needed is a birth control pill for men. This way we can catch more false pregnancy accusations.

I think what most women would hate is if men had access to a "pill". It would be like ordering coffee and getting decaf behind her back. How would she know unless you tell her.

Once again, Men's Rights are ignored even on the procreation level. Women love the fact that men are not given a choice to NOT procreate. If you refuse to procreate then you have to stuff yourself into a balloon.

Of course it isn't, diddums. Much better for the woman to put up with the risk of blood clots, experience pain with insertion of an IUD, have heavier periods, and pump herself full of hormones, just so you don't need to put a mac on.

I for one would not believe any man who told me he was on the pill.

If you refuse to procreate then you have to stuff yourself into a balloon.

Or keep it in your pants. Doesn't sound like you're much into considering your partner's needs, so she wouldn't be missing anything.

Thank you NetNinja for illustrating why so men have trouble getting laid.

You should listen to cleo. We men have it easy. Its women that carry the much greater burden and more risks too. If you are not willing to share some of the burden, you truly do not deserve the pleasures of women.

For example, if the woman gets pregnant, she has some hard choices ahead and no getting out of it. Men can and so often have, just pulled a runner. And note that while you can file a child support claim, you cannot get blood from a stone. Men avoid jail. But if a woman pulls a runner on her baby, she goes to the slammer.

For women you are just getting to know, you can wear a condom. Its a small sacrifice in the pleasure deparment for a massive peace of mind. You can be sure, if you use the condom correctly, that you will not be a father, stick her with a kid, stick her with a disease, or get one yourself (except for herpes, but you should have already checked for that).

If you are seriously dating and both are disease free (you figure this out by seriously dating!), the pull out method works for men who have enough brains to do it right and meet the control requirements (know yourself). And there are other forms of sex besides vaginal. But it still won't kill you to use a condom.

I would not even dream of asking a woman to take a drug or insert a device when a condom is the closest thing to a magic bullet there is. If a woman takes a drug or inserts a device on her own, that is great. But if I don't know her very well I will still use a condom for my own protection. First because its my only protection from disease and second, if I don't know her very well I don't know if she is lying about the pill or device or using them properly.

Believe me, I am hard core about men's rights. But when it comes to birth control men already hold the trump cards. Any man that causes an accidental pregnancy is either a clown or suffering from severe ignorance. And severe ignorance is common in America because sex education is so very poor.

I made a choice. I got my pipes cut.

I then double checked it my self in a science lab I was working in. Nothing running around in my ejaculations. I already had three kids though so the choice was easy.. and not it did not hurt, and everything looks and smells the same.
