Yes !
I am 65, started taking between one and three grams of Vit C 45 years ago, and just had my kidneys tested. Like my prostate, absolutely perfect...

The key here is that the Vitamin C supplements are usually way over the recommended daily intake. I actually saw one brand in the store that contained 1000% of the recommended daily amount in each tablet. 1000% of ANYTHING is going to be bad for you.

The point with Vit C, as with almost all kidney troubles is, that people do not drink enough. If you do not flush your kidneys continuosly, you are bound to get into troubles. Stones are an extremely painful reminder.
Can you tell me which Vit C pill has ten times the "recommended daily amount"? And why do you believe that what you consider to the correct is something that you have been toled?

But C is one of the most protective vitamins out there...
Just take plenty of water with your dose

Vitamins taken in small amounts are surely safe and beneficial to health. Mega-dose is not always needed and can produce unpredictable results. Recommended daily allowance is to small for most vitamins and minerals and is to high for some others according to my study.
