Our special guest this week is Steve Burson, president of H&R Group, who explains all about the new residence registration cards which foreigners in Japan will have to apply for after July 9. 

On news issues, we hear from NPR radio host and journalist John Matthews and Japan Today editor Chris Betros on Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda’s cabinet reshuffle, Aum fugitives, and an Atomic Energy Agency ad comparing radiation to an angry wife. Kong is a long-time radio veteran in Japan, having started in the late 1970s on a record album project with DJ Katsuya Kobayashi and musician Tatsurou Yamashita, called "COME ALONG II."
