Turning to news issues, we hear from NPR radio host and journalist John Matthews and Japan Today editor Chris Betros on the nuclear crisis, Olympus’ settlement with its ousted CEO Michael Woodford, Tokyo Sky Tree’s first week, a radioactive bluefin tuna, while Tokyo Comedy Store comedians Cloudy Bongwater and Spring Day digest some weird news about an artist who had his genitalia surgically removed so he can serve them up for dinner to five friends. Ouch!
Don Morton tells us what movies to see and what movies to miss, while Robin Sakai gives us the latest tech news and trends.

- Kong is a long-time radio veteran in Japan, having started in the late 1970s on a record album project with DJ Katsuya Kobayashi and musician Tatsurou Yamashita, called "COME ALONG II." Since then, he has had radio programs on FM YOKOHAMA, TOKYO-FM and FM802 in Osaka. His programs are currently being heard in Tokyo on InterFM and in Kansai on FM COCOLO. He pioneered the Tokyo MetPod, a podcast featuring information about movies, concerts and events.

Hey Kong, Just got caught up with your last podcasts. I hope you didn't get my last comment wrong: I was not referring to "drivel" being about talking about sex. I really don't mind that at all. It is more about keeping an interesting balance and different perspectives. And I enjoyed the program better the last couple times. Your recent guests, especially, Mary King, was very well spoken. Maybe I got you guys on the wrong day what with all the Wendy's buns talk and the windchime bra. Anyhooo... Still listening.
