OLs licking their lips at young fresh-faced new hires

“If there’s anything you don’t understand, feel free to ask me,” smiles the veteran OL to the new company recruit. “Anything at all.”
It’s that time of year again. The ladies in the office (OLs for short) are all in a flutter, smirks Shukan Taishu (April 21), over the April newcomers—young men, hardly more than boys, fresh out of school “in their brand new suits.”
The magazine regales us with charged encounters, from which we proudly present the following:
Misae, 35, works for a Tokyo realtor, and one of her responsibilities is setting up training lectures for the freshmen, seven or eight a year, who join the firm each April.
At one lecture this year, a young man we’ll call Wataru had the misfortune to doze off, which earned him a severe scolding from his new employers. True, it’s not the best way to launch a new career; still, Misae was struck by the woebegone dejection Wataru displayed. Thinking to cheer him up, she invited him out for a drink.
They went to an izakaya pub, where, to her surprise, her encouragement and good cheer failed to rouse him. How sad, she thought. She felt sorry for him. He was taking it so seriously when really, it was nothing, nothing at all. “Come,” she said, “let’s go somewhere, just the two of us.”
She took him to a love hotel. Even here he seemed distracted, distant. “Shall we take a shower?” She loosened his belt, unzipped his trousers. Here she was in for a surprise. “My,” she said, “aren’t you big!”
“Until then,” she tells Shukan Taishu, “all the men I’d been with were over 30. Young guys really are different, aren’t they?” The experience seems to have been an education for both of them.
Nanami, 39, wasn’t pleased to be saddled with freshman-training. “It’s usually pretty boring,” she says. She works for a pharmaceutical firm, selling to hospitals, and Osamu, her trainee, was full of just the sort of self-satisfied conceit that reinforces a veteran’s prejudices against the young generation. “He’d say things like, ‘I hang out with girls in the sex business, and there isn’t much I don’t know about women.’”
Well, good for him! But you can only take so much of this kind of thing, and Nanami, in the car with him on her sales rounds, was a captive audience. Finally her patience snapped. Near one of the hospitals was a love hotel, and she pulled in. “We’ll see about all that ‘experience’ of yours,” she thought.
Osamu was surprised but not abashed. His confidence was quite genuine. And he lacked nothing in eagerness. But Nanami smiled to herself as she regarded his fumbling attempts to arouse her. When she spoke, it was gently. “Tell me the truth,” she said. “You’re not experienced at all, are you?”
“Well… er… no,” stammered Osamu. “It’s all right.” She had been assigned to train him, after all. And she set to work with a will.

thanks for your frank expression. I felt the same - when some posts were deleted for a simple harmless joke, or other messages were edited to cut out things which the mod did not like. Actually, I think I have read this story before in a book like "Tabloid Tokyo". But I gave it to friends, so I can not check it easily now.

How come Japan Today uses Shukan Taishu as a source? For those who don't know about the magazine, its articles have the lowest quality...you can find better ones on Friday...or Playboy!

If they want to get it on which freshmen, surely all they have to do is pull rank on them. "I am your sempai" will often work in this country whether we are talking about telling your juniors to go and jump off a cliff or getting them into bed

I didn't believe this story until one of the OL that I know told me that stuff like this happens all the time. I asked her for an application to work where she does. She laughed at me. I guess good things happen to a lot of people.
