Around the world, seals, otters and other species are increasingly infected by parasites and other diseases long common in goats, cows, cats and dogs, marine mammal experts told a major science conference.

This is why it is against the law to take a goat swimming with you at all beaches in America.

Just think of what the ocean fallout from Fukushima will do to the poor sealife. We do not see it because it is below the surface (out of sight out of mind) but the damage to marine life will happen. The full extent and impact is probably being postulated by science folks but they can never really be sure with any real degree of accuracy. There are too many unknown variables.
